Objectives:

• Awareness campaign against Alcoholism and conducting deaddiction camps

• Creating Awareness on community needs and community development

• Ensuring participation in village reconstruction

• Creating awareness on importance of maintaining cleaner surroundings

• Encouraging Gramothsavas, Traditional fairs, Community Festivals, Sports, Games and Art Forms

• Promoting National Spirit, Cooperation, Unity

• Training in Disaster Management and Natural Calamities

Activities :

• Mahila sevadal had visited all households in all villages to create awareness about personal hygiene and importance of cleanliness inside and outside the houses
• Bathing brushes, Nail cutters, Shampoo packets and soaps were distributed in all villages
• Volley balls along with nets and Cricket sets were distributed in all villages
• Competitions like Volley ball tournaments, Archery, Cricket, Tug-O-War were conducted and prizes were distributed to the winning teams
• Flex boards detailing various ill effects of smoking and alcoholism were displayed in all the villages
• Films and puppet shows were organised to create awareness against the spread of HIV
• Week-long celebrations were conducted in 12 villages, where sevadal stayed in the villages continuously for seven days and undertook various activities convering all the eight activity areas
