Objectives:

• Ensuring access to Health, Shelter, Food and Clothing, Utensils, Sanitation, Education etc with a special focus on children, pregnant women, old people and physically challenged.

• Creating awareness on Personal Hygiene

Activities :

• Each month 50 sai amruthakalasa are being distributed to needy families
• About 50 tribal women were housed in sai mandirs of Oobalanka and Gannavaram villages and training imparted on various aspects of home care, cooking, stitching, bhajans, nagara
• sankeerthana and balvikas syllabus. These women were sent twice as sevadal for puttaparthi services
• A total of 2420 woolen blankets, 1756 sarees, 600 dhothis, 1040 shirt and trouser pairs and 538 dresses for girls were distributed on different occassions
• Four families that have lost everything in fire accident were given amruthakalasa, new clothes and cooking utensils
• About 81 pregnancy cermonies, 42 naming cermonies, 50 education initiation (aksharabhyasa) services were conducted
• Sai protein was distributed to about 100 individuals suffering from anaemia and Nutritious food packets were distributed to 118 pregnant women
• Practical awareness camps on maintaining personal hygiene like shampooing of hair, cutting of nails and maintaining dental hygiene are being conducted
