Objectives:

• Imparting Sri Sathya Sai Bala Vikas Programme for bringing about value based transformation in children

• Adoption of Primary Schools and shaping them into model schools

• Reducing absenteeism in schools

• Improving school infrastructure

• Undertaking adult Literacy programmes

Activities:

• Total number of Balavikas students in the 25 villages - 1203
• Balavikas classes are being conducted in all the 25 villages, every Sunday. Slokas, Vakya Vibhuti, Padhya Sukthi, Moral Stories, Bhagwan’s life story and Bhajans are being taught
• All primary school students in all the 25 villages were being given notebooks, pencils, pens, erasers etc
• Teacher’s Day Celebrations: 82 Male and 37 Female teachers in 21 schools were honoured with Garland, Shawl, Pair of clothes, Swami’s Photo and Books of Swami
• School bags, School uniforms, foot wear, steel plates, steel tumblers were distributed to students in some villages
• About 800 students had attended spoken english classes conducted at Maredumilli Boys hostel
